Stuart Adams Law Office, P.S.C. is a professional service corporation engaged in the general practice of civil law. The Firm concentrates in serving the needs of small business owners and their families.

Mr. Adams started his practice as a criminal prosecutor. His private practice involved complex civil litigation and appellate practice in state and federal courts. He has nearly 30 years experience dealing with legal issues in diverse areas. He has been an equity partner in small and medium firms, and has maintained roles as counsel in the government and private sectors. He concentrates now on business issues and business litigation and has been licensed in Kentucky, Indiana and Massachusetts.

The Firm was formed with a mission to provide legal services with:

One of the characteristics which distinguishes the Firm is the depth of its experience and involvement in representing entrepreneurs in many different industries, including, computer and technology based businesses, medical practice groups, health care, construction, insurance, retail, governmental and nonprofit. The Firm devotes a major portion of its practice to: general corporate law; family business issues; business litigation; employment matters including noncompetition agreements and employment discrimination claims; standard business contracts, web based agreements, and general commercial matters. It also represents clients in administrative matters before public boards and commissions, and assists clients with wills, estate planning, and probate matters.

The Firm serves a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from small businesses, substantial corporations, and governmental agencies to individuals and families, and is especially proud of its work with minority and nonprofit enterprises.

An exciting area of our practice is representation of entrepreneurs starting and expanding their businesses. Our attorneys have many years of experience representing such clients. We have created a small business incubator environment by providing connection to a network of services, including financial planning, accounting, technological needs and management.

The office of the Firm is located in Norton Commons, Prospect, Kentucky with free parking adjacent to our building. We are on New LaGrange Road, just off Shelbyville Road, near Oxmoor Mall. Our central location provides easy access by bus, or from the expressway by car. We are within easy driving distance of all local major banks and financial centers as well as the Federal and State Courthouse.

The Firm encourages its members to participate in continuing legal education and training, as well as outside activities which enhance the practice areas of the Firm. The attorneys of the Firm are involved in a variety of bar associations, community and charitable organizations and national and local political campaigns.

The attorneys in the Firm are encouraged to remain involved in many areas of the law. Because all areas of the law are becoming increasingly complex, it has become necessary for attorneys to concentrate their practice in a few areas. Kentucky does not allow attorneys to advertise that they specialize in any particular area of law. The attorneys in our Firm, however, do concentrate their practice as stated herein. Additionally, Mr. Adams has received extensive training as a professional mediator.
